Welcome to Little Heath Primary School.

We are a one form entry primary school in Little Heath, Potters Bar, with a recent Ofsted rating of 'Good'.

It is our aim at Little Heath that everyone who spends time with us finds it an enriching experience. We have made a real effort to balance the aims of excellence and enjoyment for all children. The school provides a friendly and safe environment in which pupils show respect towards each other and the staff. Behaviour is exceptionally good and pupils display positive attitudes to their learning and their school. We try to make teaching and learning relevant and fun. Blending the best of traditional teaching methods with contemporary practice and technologies, we encourage creativity so that learning and teaching at Little Heath is enjoyable for all.

We teach children from Nursery to Year 6 where all of our pupils enjoy bright and airy classrooms. We have a vibrant and engaging Foundation Unit with a large, modern purpose-built area dedicated to outdoor learning. Our KS1 classrooms have direct access to the outside areas and our school site also incorporates an attractive outdoor classroom area for children across all key stages.

Our school is a friendly school where everyone is known and cared for. Teachers and pupils care for one another and treat each other with respect and kindness which allows teachers to challenge and stretch pupils, helping them to persevere to achieve their potential.

Our Governors are committed, enthusiastic and keen to continue the development of our lovely school. We have a very supportive PTA who raise extra funds for our school.

Our website aims to give you a taster of the school, but please come and visit to see it for yourself –I would be more than happy to welcome you and answer any further questions you may have about our wonderful school.
